You’re not losing everywhere. You’re fumbling one step.

Matches, but the chats die. Chats, but no dates. First dates, but never a second. It feels like the whole thing is broken. Usually it’s one step, the same one, every time.

  • The interviewChapter 12 · Statements, not questions
  • The paragraphChapter 13 · Short texts win
  • The open inviteChapter 20 · The invite
  • The check-inChapter 18 · When she goes quiet

Each of these looks harmless when you send it: a fifth question in a row, a paragraph where one line would do, a “when works for you?” that hands her the planning, a check-in after two days of nothing. Each one is a fumble, and you never find out which one cost you.

The free advice doesn’t settle it. Wait three days. Never text first. Always text first. Just be yourself. You’ve tried most of it, and you still don’t know what to send tonight.

The book goes the whole way, from your profile to the “what are we” talk, in the order it happens. Find the step where you drop it, and stop dropping it.

The Fumble Finder

Where do you drop it?

Near the front of the book, a one-page check sends you to your part. The short version:

  • Matches, no replies, or no matches at allPart II · Before you say a word. Your photos, your prompts, your first message.
  • Good chats, no datesParts III and IV · Texting, and getting the date. Short texts, when to ask, and an invite with a day in it.
  • You see her, you don’t walk overPart V · Meeting her in real life. Saying hi before you talk yourself out of it, then saying why you came over.
  • First dates, never a secondParts VI and VII · What to say, and the first date. Saying less, where to sit, the text after.
  • A few dates, then nothingPart VIII · From dates to something real. Going deeper each time, and saying what you want.
  • Weeks on, still waiting on the one who went quietPart IX · Walking away. Lukewarm is an answer, and what to do when she comes back.
Look inside

One chapter, start to finish

Every chapter is one place guys fumble. It opens on the move in one line, shows what most guys send and why it fails, then hands you the exact words. This is from chapter 12, Statements, not questions.

Chapter 12 · Texting

Statements, not questions

Text what you think, and let her react.

  • You: “How’s your week going?”
  • Lena: “long lol. a cat named Biscuit bit me at work. yours?”
  • You: “Not bad. What do you do?”
  • Lena: “vet tech”
  • You: “Nice, do you like it?”
  • Lena: “most days”

The fumble

You keep a thread alive the way that feels safest, by asking. A question is polite and looks like interest, and you’ve never reread “How’s your week going?” the next morning and winced. The worst it can be is a little boring, and boring feels like a fair price for never sending a joke that lands flat.

Cool. Any plans this weekend?

So you work down a list you didn’t know you had: her week, her job, whether she likes her job, her weekend. Each one is reasonable on its own. Stacked up, they read like a landlord checking her references.

Somewhere in there you walked past the best thing in the thread. She handed you a cat named Biscuit who bit her at work, and you asked for her job title.

The move

Text thisYour playlist is either perfect or a disaster. No in-between.She mentions what she’s listening to, or sends a song. Send it and stop. When she picks a side, take the other one for a text or two, then let her win.
Text thisYour weekend has ‘sleep till ten and call it a plan’ written all over it.She says she has no plans. Send it instead of asking what she’s up to, then let her prove you wrong.
Do thisBefore you send a question, answer it yourself as a guess. Send the guess. You scroll up and every text of yours ends in a question mark. Keep the topic and change the punctuation.

Where it stops

A statement still has to be fun to answer. Keep your guesses on things she chose: the song, the dinner, the weekend, the cat with a record. Never her looks, and nothing she can’t change. Skip any guess that could sting.

And don’t give up questions for good. A thread with no question marks at all starts to sound like a guy doing a bit.

This week

  1. Scroll back through your last three dead threads and count your question marks.
  2. Catch the next question you’re about to send, and send your guess at the answer instead.
  3. Find one thing she gave you in a live thread that you stepped over, and reply to that.

Cut down from the chapter, which has three more sections and one more line to send. Every chapter has the same bones: the move in one line, the fumble, why it happens, the move in the exact words, where it stops, and three steps for this week.

Dating Profile Checklist

Fix your profile before you send another message.

Your photos and prompts get read before any text you send. Go down the 36 checks, 12 in each section, and tick what’s done.

  • Your photos: what to keep, what to cut
  • Your prompts and bio: something she can reply to
  • Your first message, and the move to a date

Is it for you?

Yes, if

  • You get matches, or even dates, and they keep going nowhere.
  • You’d rather have the exact words than a theory about them.
  • You want to know which step you’re dropping, and fix that one.

Not if

  • You want a way to trick someone or talk them past a no. Nothing in here works on someone who isn’t interested, and it isn’t meant to.
  • You want a theory of what women are. This book is about what you do.
  • You want someone to coach you. This is a book.

The book, and 4 bonuses free

Still deciding?

Can’t I get this for free?

You can get opinions for free, and you’ve seen how well they agree. This is one voice from the first match to something real, in the order it happens, with the actual words for each moment. You don’t have to stitch it together yourself.

Is this pickup stuff?

Nothing here works by tricking or pushing anyone. No negging, no staged jealousy, no lying about what you want. Every move is one you’d be fine with her finding out about, every chapter says where it stops, and if she isn’t interested, the book tells you to leave it there.

I’m not a confident guy.

You don’t have to be first. Most of the moves are about doing less: one text instead of three, answering the question she asked, picking the place instead of asking where she wants to go. Doing less looks calm, and Part I shows you how to get there.

A line only works if it’s mine.

Agreed. Every move comes with why it works, so once you get it you’ll say it your own way. The exact words are there for the nights you don’t feel like thinking.

Does it help if I’m not on the apps?

Yes. Part V is about meeting her in real life, and the texting, the dates and the way you carry yourself work wherever you met.

I’m already seeing someone.

Then start at Part VIII: dates two and three, working out whether she’s into it, and the “what are we” talk, said once and at the right time.

Who wrote it?

Attraction Manual. There’s no course after this and no coaching call to book. One book, one price, and your money back within 3 days if it isn’t for you.

Is $45 worth it?

It costs less than dinner for two. If one chat turns into a date, or one first date turns into a second, it has paid for itself.

Buying and reading

What do I get?

5 PDFs. The book is 282 pages at 6 × 9 in, the size of a paperback. It opens on your phone, and reads easier on a tablet or laptop. The 4 bonuses are US Letter pages to print, and they fit on A4. Everything downloads as soon as you pay.

Do I need a printer?

For most of the bonuses, yes, or a print shop. The Workbook also works on a tablet, with an app that lets you write on a PDF, and the book reads fine on a screen. If you print one thing, make it the First Date Plan: one sheet per date.

What shows on my card statement?

THE ATTRACTION MANUAL. The receipt and the download email come from support@theattractionmanual.co.

How do I pay?

By card, through the secure checkout at the bottom of this page. The download links appear as soon as you pay, and they’re emailed to you too.

How do refunds work?
